1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how WonderTCG uses cookies and similar technologies on:

WonderTCG is a trading name of Wonderflow Records, a business registered in the Netherlands.

We believe in keeping the use of cookies to a minimum.

At present, WonderTCG does not use cookies for:

  • website analytics;

  • visitor profiling;

  • behavioural advertising;

  • retargeting;

  • social media advertising;

  • cross-site tracking; or

  • marketing tracking.

The cookies used on WonderTCG are limited to those required for the proper operation of the WordPress/WooCommerce webshop and the secure processing of payments through Mollie.

2. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your computer, smartphone, tablet or other device when you visit the website.

Cookies can be used to remember information about your visit and allow websites to function properly.

For example, cookies can be used to:

  • remember the contents of a shopping cart;

3. Types of Cookies Used by WonderTCG

WonderTCG currently uses only cookies that are necessary or functional for operation of the webshop and payment process.

We do not intentionally place analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

The main categories are:

  1. WordPress and WooCommerce functional cookies; and

  2. cookies associated with Mollie payment processing.

4. WordPress and WooCommerce Cookies

WonderTCG operates using WordPress and WooCommerce.

WooCommerce requires certain cookies in order to provide basic webshop functionality.

These cookies may be used to:

  • remember products placed in your shopping cart;

  • identify when the contents of the cart have changed;

  • maintain your shopping session;

  • support checkout;

  • remember certain webshop settings; and

  • allow customers or administrators to remain logged in where applicable.

Examples of cookies commonly used by WooCommerce include:

woocommerce_cart_hash

Purpose: Helps WooCommerce determine when the contents of the shopping cart change.

Duration: Normally for the browser session.

woocommerce_items_in_cart

Purpose: Helps WooCommerce identify whether products have been added to the shopping cart and whether the cart contents have changed.

Duration: Normally for the browser session.

wp_woocommerce_session_

Purpose: Assigns the customer a unique session identifier so that WooCommerce can retrieve the correct shopping cart information from the Website database.

Typical duration: Approximately 2 days.

The cookie itself does not normally contain the contents of your shopping cart or directly identifiable personal information.

Other WordPress cookies

WordPress may also use functional cookies where relevant for features such as:

  • authentication;

  • logged-in sessions;

  • security;

  • administrative functionality; and

  • remembering Website preferences.

Some WordPress cookies are only used for registered or logged-in users or Website administrators.

These cookies are not used by WonderTCG for advertising or behavioural tracking.

5. Mollie Payment Cookies

WonderTCG uses Mollie as a payment service provider.

When you proceed to checkout or select a payment method processed by Mollie, cookies or similar technologies may be used as part of the payment process.

These may be necessary to:

  • establish and maintain a secure payment session;

  • process the selected payment method;

  • prevent fraudulent transactions;

  • protect against misuse;

  • maintain payment security;

  • recognise the state of a payment transaction; and

  • complete the payment process.

Depending on the payment method selected, you may be redirected to Mollie or another financial service provider involved in completing the payment.

Mollie may process information such as:

  • IP address;

  • browser and device information;

  • payment details;

  • transaction information;

  • name;

  • address;

  • email address; and

  • telephone number,

where this is relevant to the payment method being used.

Mollie’s own privacy and cookie policies apply to cookies and personal data processed directly by Mollie on Mollie’s services.

WonderTCG does not use Mollie cookies for WonderTCG advertising or behavioural marketing.

6. No Analytics Cookies

WonderTCG currently does not use website analytics services.

This means we do not intentionally use tools such as:

  • Google Analytics;

  • Google Tag Manager for analytics or advertising;

  • Microsoft Clarity;

  • Hotjar;

  • Meta Pixel;

  • TikTok Pixel;

  • advertising conversion tracking; or

  • comparable visitor analytics or behavioural tracking systems.

WonderTCG therefore does not use cookies for the purpose of analysing your browsing behaviour across the Website.

If analytics functionality is introduced in the future, this Cookie Policy will be updated and any consent required by applicable law will be obtained before such cookies are placed.

7. No Advertising or Tracking Cookies

WonderTCG does not currently use tracking cookies for targeted advertising.

We do not intentionally use cookies to:

  • create advertising profiles;

  • follow visitors across unrelated websites;

  • retarget visitors with advertisements;

  • measure advertising audiences;

  • share browsing behaviour with advertising networks; or

  • personalise third-party advertising.

If this changes in the future, WonderTCG will update this Cookie Policy and introduce appropriate consent controls before non-essential tracking cookies are placed.

8. Why Consent Is Not Requested for Essential Cookies

Under applicable Dutch cookie rules, prior consent is generally not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the visitor or that are necessary for a website to function correctly.

The cookies currently used directly by WonderTCG are intended to support functions such as:

  • shopping cart operation;

  • Website sessions;

  • checkout;

  • security; and

  • payment processing.

For these essential or functional cookies, WonderTCG informs visitors about their use through this Cookie Policy.

If WonderTCG begins using cookies that require consent, those cookies will not be placed until the appropriate consent has been obtained.

At present, the principal third-party service relevant to WonderTCG checkout is:

Mollie B.V.

WonderTCG does not control cookies placed directly on a third party’s website after you leave wondertcg.store.

  • woocommerce_items_in_cart as a session cookie; and

  • wp_woocommerce_session_ as typically remaining for approximately 2 days.

Actual cookie duration may change when WordPress, WooCommerce, Mollie or Website functionality is updated.

WonderTCG will review this Cookie Policy when material changes are made to the Website’s cookie usage.

12. Personal Data and Cookies

Some cookies or associated technologies may involve the processing of personal data, such as:

  • IP addresses;

  • session identifiers;

  • device information; or

  • transaction information.
